Barton Bothy is a listed building, semi-detached but totally secluded from the main farmhouse. The cottage sleeps four guests, or five, with a cot or put up bed in the main bedroom. Comfortable for a family holiday and popular with couples at all times of year.
The cottage has lovely views, particularly from the main bedroom and the sitting room.
Upstairs the large double bedroom with a 5′ bed and wash basin has room for a put up bed or cot. Next door is a small twin bedded room with 3′ beds and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Downstairs there is a glassed-in porch, for wellies and wet dogs, and this leads into the kitchen diner which in turn leads into the sitting room with its large open fire, comfortable chairs and sofa.
It has gas fired central heating and the open fire for cosy evenings.
Outside there is space for a car, a fenced in lawn and a paved patio. The front door and patio are completely private and secluded from the farmhouse. There is a wood store for guests use in a small front garden which adjoins the farmhouse front lawn.
Price per week includes logs but excludes electricity/heating and linen. Linen can be provided on request for £16 per bed per week: From £450.00 in March to £800 in August and £550.00 in October. Up to 2 dogs, free of charge, but over 2 dogs £15.00 per week per extra dog which is left in the cottage for the caretaker.

I particularly loved the pretty main bedroom and the view from the deep window seat! The log fire made us beautifully cosy after our muddy walks!

We had a fabulous time thank you! The cottage was lovely and the views divine.
We are now trying to come back down to reality …no more trips on the ferry to the St Mawes hotel for morning coffee, no more lunches at the Hidden Hut, no more watching the seal at Tatums …..
